It seems the Senate is still in play.

Keith Olbermann made a thoughtful observation (words to the effect of): "this will force a renegotiation with the White House on Iraq". Indeed...Bush has said that he'll stay the course regardless of the election and regardless of growing criticism from inside as well as outside of his party. And the people said: "oh yeah? Watch this." Checks and balances strikes again.
