Okay - let's see. We have:

Mr. Evil calling me a sodomite (at least he was kind enough to leave the gender unspecified)

R.L. making accusations of some unspecified vile behaviors - which information most assuredly is repeating in a select group.

Dr. Morrison, (who so far has wasted several tens of millions of US taxpayers' dollars on a not unsurprisingly unsuccessful search for his hyporthesized gravitational attractor) making unfounded accusations to NASA security that I intended to kill him (though why I should trouble myself doing a job which he can best do himself is beyond me).

This information relayed by Dr. Blackwell, who for years earned his living on Hawaii peddling "watery Mars" nonsense to the gullible.

Dr. Blackwell's friend Doug Ellison, making use of a suggestion to improve his copyright protection to claim that i intended to steal peoples' imagery work.

R.L., working on lasers in Hawaii, who actively cheered on here the Marvin the Martian identity fraud, on Hawaii obejcting to being identified by name.

and "Norman Bean" actually using St. Petersburg service provider to hide his identity - oh yes, privacy is so important, particularly when one is engaged in criminal activity.

AND WE HAVE:
Moderators who refuse to move insulting posts to flames where they can be responded to.

ER, I don't care who you are. Impactors are a life and death subject, and I was civil in telling you that they can not be handled on a amateur basis. The work which you suggested be handled by amateurs wold be best handled by the staffs at older ground observatories in smaller countries with smaller budgets.
What the amateurs' roles should be is a good question, one which is still not answered.

ER, there are several underlying assumptions in your suggestions, and here hey are:

1) Only asteroids impact the Earth. This is nonsense.

2) The impact rate is low. This is nonsense.

3) No public funds need be spent in dealing with the impact hazard, and it can be handled by amateurs. This is nonsense.
