Yes, the value of Ed's contributions is questionable at times.
Ed started out debating here but soon left the path. Partly because we called him an idiot and moron. And partly because he couldn't come up with answers to questions asked.
So, he now uses this short hand of mentioning names without say who they are and using abbreviations all over. And of course he uses numbers without telling where they come from.
I think because often Ed's links don't support his arguments and in fact support his appointments arguments.
And finally he doesn't get statistics at all and is dealing in a field that requires and pretty strong understanding of the odds of events happening.
Anyway, thank you for bothering with the debate about amateurs astronomers over at Space Science.
