Not raising the debt limit is not automatically a default.
Here's a clue: Just because my bank won't raise my credit limit doesn't mean I can't make the payments on what I've got. Go look it up.
Unless, of course, I'm so "fucking nuts" that I can't stop myself from buying new cars and start making payments on my credit card by charging those payments to the same damn card. Which, of course, real people aren't allowed to do. But your glorious government does that every day of the week.
What the Democrats can't stand is the idea that they can't spend all the money they want to. Trillion dollar deficits are now routine, the budget is double what it was 25 years ago, and yet according to the Democrats we can't cut one bloody cent without the end of civilization. I cannot WAIT until the next election.
