Look at the chart. The curve is heading asymptotic. Your side controlled Congress from 2007 to this year, and had absolute control of government for two solid years during that time. They did nothing useful about our budget situation. All they did was go nuts with various socialist pipe dreams, make a bad situation much worse, and put us on a road of massive and ever-climbing deficits as far as the CBO projections go.
The Republicans are proposing real ideas, like them or not. The Democrats are gibbering, stalling, proposing nothing, and tossing their own president's budget and the budget commission suggestions out the window.
So when does this "thoughtful" planning start?
