Bush took as many, if not more, liberties than Obama has and many of his were at the expense of our freedoms and rights. Bush was scary as shit. At least I don't worry with Obama that, if I criticize him (and I have), that his goons will be at my door to cart me off to Gitmo or somewhere else.
What offends me is the constant whining over Obama as the President. He is the legally elected President (something Bush could not actually claim) so deal with it and quit whining because Republicans are not longer calling all the shots. Get over yourself.
Republicans do not have a corner on being right (ooh, bad pun) much as you'd like to believe they do. They're dead wrong at least as often as Democrats and in my opinion, more often.
