I know what whining sounds like. I have two cats who do it until I give up and feed them at the earlier time they think is appropriate.
Of course, earlier gets earlier and earlier every day. We're now up to 4:30 a.m. sometimes.
Maybe Conservatives think if they whine enough, we'll just give up and feed them. Maybe but they won't like the gruel.
