Wet cool weather causes more crop failure than warm dry weather.

And anyway, there are vast tracts of land in the northern USA and southern Canada (Not to mention Russia and Mongolia) that would benefit enormously from a longer growing season.

Global Warming may or may not be real. But the hype surrounding it is pure scare tactics designed to terrify people into wasteful spending on junk science.
