I live across the road from the beach in Geraldton, Western Australia and the view was brilliant! I witnessed Halley's Comet passing over here in the same town back in April 1986, but this comet leaves any comet I have seen in the sky for dead since then (I believe though that it has been the brightest comet since 1965, so it is therefore the brightest I have ever witnessed). Sorry I do not have the necessary instruments to capture it on film for you all, but it has defiitely been a thrill for me and made my year. All the very best to you all.
