Saw it last night.

I walked out in the back yard and saw Venus. Not having seen a clear night in over two months, my heart jumped for a brief moment when I thought that Venus might be it. I settled down and saw McNaught on the Horizon through the red haze of sunset. Very impressive! Reminded me of a faint surreal second sun.

Not luck tonight, clouds on the horizon.
