Daylight astronomy

Alphonse Pouplier, a good friend, has a telescope (alt-azimutal mount) that can be used in full daylight.
No need for Polaris nor 2 other stars for the pointing, but the exact knowledge of the position (in azimuth) of a spot at the horizon and setting the mount horizontally..and a PC to guide the scope towards a chosen star or planet.

We wouldn't be limited to the Sun (already a great object) or the Moon.

And he has already been able to see Mir during daylight. ISS should also be visible.

Ok, I should perhaps consider this kind of activity too:-)
