I could use a new trick. And, if I get the time and energy I'll try Linux again, and indeed need help.
I've got several copies of Red Hat, and my know-it-all brother-in-law who really does know most of it has a few more. I suspect I'll inherit those, as the poor bastard just found out before Christmas he has a severe case of pancreatic cancer. PC is bad, his is on the serious side of bad. Not much time.
And he's one of my very, very favorite people, relatively young, absolutely, completely dotes on his grandchildren, a voice of sanity when I've needed one with the family.
We've got snow here, and will get ice, I just put chains on all 4 tires in case he needs something. And he's in a hospital, will be for the next 4 or 5 days - what the hell could he need from me?
I just feel better knowing I have 'em on.

You got any new tricks, I'll try. New OS, well, I dunno.
