No. Partly because I much prefer salt to fresh water, but mostly because I don't consider stocked lakes (often artificial reservoirs!) a wilderness. Salt water is a wilderness, you never know what you're going to bring up, and they're all neat. Managed sport fishing seems so artificial, somehow, more like farming than fishing. Still, those fish are not endangered exotics brought in by poachers, they are deliberately introduced for recreational anglers and I have no objections to others enjoying the sport. And if those populations were not fished, they would probably disappear anyway because the environment is propped up by human intervention.
The moral implications of eating flesh have not escaped me, but I'm no Mr Spock. When you think about it, even vegetararians consume crops that have displaced native species, both plant and animal, where they are grown, even if the process is totally organic, whatever that means. Like most moral dilemmas, if you follow them to their conclusion they lead you into contradictions. I draw the line at minimizing killing, waste and pain. After that, well, we all gotta eat, even the little beasties, as Ben Franklin above understood.
