That's OK. One expects any perceived slight by some minorities is going to raise the cry of bias, bigotry and prejudice from some of their members. It's a form of bullying, and I think they go out of their way to find it. I believe it must be official Israeli foreign policy, for instance. Some minorities one expects it from more than others. I have never experienced it from Asians, for instance.
I'm not sure how you got into this. The context of the original post was the Christian interpretation of the Old Testament. You injected Judaism, including the Old Testament, Torah and related works and interpretations. Which happen to be extremely interesting reading in their own right, instructive as to the times and thinking, and admirable. I enjoy it. However, the Old Testament as modified and adapted was not at all the issue. It was the Christian Bible, which does not include those rabbinical deliberations.
Judaism, to my knowledge, doesn't give the same weight to the New Testament or the so-called New Covenant.
And Christianity as a rule doesn't regard the Torah as canonical.
(Now I suspect there may be a sect of Abssynian-Persian Christians living in exile in Constantinople, worshipping in a temple on Sundays who may. I believe they haven't had a quorum for 238 years, and the fellow with whom I was in dialogue isn't a member of that group, I'm sure.) :-)
In effect there are two Old Testaments - one with addendums and administrative laws, one without. I was referring to the one without.
Hope this helps.
