I'm definitely shooting for something with a 160+gb hd and the ability to handle memory-intensive software tasks. And I do have a 'backup' copy of XP available ;-)
However, I fear that Microsoft will have found a way to prevent (or make sufficiently difficult) the overwriting and using of a Vista OS equipped machine with XP much as the did with XP and 'lesser' Microsoft OS.
