But all this crap about global warming is making me nauseous. Specific technologies are needed, not a blanket beaurocracy.
The USA imports more oil from Canada than any other country including Saudi Arabia, and nearly as much as all of the persian gulf states combined. So here I am as a Canadian, conflicted, because oil exports fuel the economy of my country, and the economy of our largest trading partner south of the border. But when oil starts to run out, both our economies are going to take a dive. I'm not entirely sure what would get us out of this crappy situation, but trumping global warming bullshit is like crying wolf, and when the real crisis comes nobody will listen.
