Heh...
Progress will happen so fast that we'll all start out at the top of the ladder, and work our way DOWN with increasing seniority. Good luck changing careers. Voluntary euthanasia might come into style, with life expectancies dropping to from 75-85 years down to 20-25 years.
It would be cool however if computers became more like augments than equipment. It would be better if all we had to do was "be creative", and our electronic augment would do the required computations associated with that idea, almost like a 2nd brain that could upload any needed information or "learning" in seconds.
But that doesn't exist. It might though, since today alot of people presuppose things they imagine will work, when in fact upon spending the time and completing the necessary math it turns out to be impossible. I'm one of them. Even an educated person today doesn't necessarily know a priori if an idea is possible. Hence we are already stronger creatively than computationally. And maybe that's where simple "humans" will find a niche and survive.
