Actual during all Apollo mission they had the use of plastic bags for both liquids and solids.
Must have been fun having such a small place to do your business in. Maybe the bathroom was behind the seats?
Anyway we're move away from the actual use of suits and how much time you want or need to spend in them...
All I can say is trying to avoid eating food and drinking water is a very bad idea and it seems some people did just that during Apollo Moon Missions.
