Speaking of tolerances.

A few years ago I was working in a factory to help pay for school. The place made hangers for auto exhaust systems. When checking the parts in the inspection gauge we had to use feelers with a .15 mm thickness. If the .15 mm feeler went, the machine had to be adjusted. I thought that such a tight tolerance for a tailpipe hanger was absurd.
