I hear a lot about how WWII was won in less time than Iraq. I hear a lot about how we didn't have problems with insurgencies in occupied Germany or Japan.
It never hurts to remember why.
I'm not suggesting that this is the way we should go now, although I wonder how the war might have gone if, say, Fallujah had been made an example the first time.
