Four Words - Law of the Sea

Plans for developing the oceans vast energy and mineral resources were going good, until the UN stepped in. Then then Law of the Sea treaty basically turn the ocean into the worl'd's largest socialist experiment. What's the point of spending YOUR money to develop ocean resources when you are FORCED to give half of what you make to the "Enterprise" to support the failed socialist economies of 3rd world dictators?
