Tom, (anyone) help me with this one: Higher prices on food.
Ok, I caught this one on CNN and can't remember what specific show segment. Bottom line, they said that food costs will rise (if they haven't already) accross the U.S. They said that it was mainly because of our outsourcing of whole grains to China, India (etc.). Ok, now, if we are indeed outsourcing so much, where's the money that we're getting back from these people to pay it back?
They also mentioned the high gas prices for the food price hike, that I can understand, or not.
I'm sorry, but (slightly laughing), it has to stop.
Congress can give us all a 'hike' in the minimum wage, but progress for the middle man will still mean the same... even less, i.e., property taxes, etc.
