National Health Care update
In Britain.
One of the selling points of socialized health care by its proponents is that pre-existing conditions won't be an issue. This is, of course, a lie. When health care is perceived by its users as "free," the only two possibilities left are bankruptcy, or rationing, and selecting "good prospects" from potential patients is an obvious rationing method.
There have been a raft of horror stories from Britain. Some years back when I argued with proponents of socialized health care, Britain was raised as the shining example. If you look around the websites and other places pushing this now, you will notice that Britain isn't really mentioned that much any more as an example.
