Since 1991 the Bilderberg chairmanship has been held by Britain's Lord Peter Carrington, former cabinet minister,secretary-general of NATO, and president of the Royal Institute of International Affairs, a sister organization to CFR. Carrington has been linked to the Rothchild banking empire by both business connections and marraige.
