Phil, you did get that Starship Troopers was a satire, don't you?
Peter V. did that in Total Recall, too, but people seemed to take it
so seriously. Maybe it's just that Americans can't get subtle humor
like the Europeans do.
The film was not like the novel, but so what? A major city is sneak
attacked by a foreign force and humanity responds with total war.
