a draft

azstrummer — 7/9/2007 6:12:54 PM (archived)

Well, the draft would do one thing and that would be ensure the end to this war and not due to some military victory. We're seeing some protest right now but this thing simply isn't hitting the average citizen hard like the Vietnam War did with brothers and neighbors and classmates being pulled out of their lives and into hell.

A draft would push all the fence-sitters over the edge in a day.
