So in coming election we have the possibility of a first black, women, Mormon, Italian, former POW, Hispanic, or first guy who became president by talking about the weather.
It should be interesting.
As far as Third Party, you have Nader, Bloomburg, Gore, Gingrich, or even Lieberman [or some unknown at this point].
I think Clinton has best chance of getting Dem nomination and whoever gets the nomination, you have to ask if they have Gore as VP would this help win the general election- and I think the answer to that would no. And if Gore would not help as VP then it's less likely he could win by himself as the President. Next, you have to ask, for Gore want to take votes away from a Dem candidate [and how much will the Dems hate him if he decides to do this?]. Gore wants to be loved, therefore he won't run. Applied the above to Gingrich and you will get similar answer, e.g. which Rep who is nominated would choose Gingrich as VP?
But ask the same of Lieberman [I think either party would want Lieberman as VP- so if Lieberman wants to be VP he will be VP. Now if Lieberman wants to be President, then you also could have first Jew as President.
