The phrase "always from Conservatives" illustrates one problem I have in discussing things with you, a historical blind spot you could lose a two-trailer semi in.
The idea that the only place you've ever heard complaints about a president ruining a country is from conservatives closely approaches the level of delusion. You sure you don't want to rethink that one?
The government in the U.S., a nation of 300 million people, works about as well as any government can under the circumstances, and better than a large number of others. God save us from pure efficiency in the State.
Our Federal government would be easier to run, and there would be a lot less concern about its overwhelming power, if it hadn't taken on a lot of things it never should have.
It was less worrisome to elect presidents in this country back before they were elected to be gods.
