The theory & controversy behind the prediction
He uses the Copernican Principle that we are not living in a special time and predicts longevity of phenomena. Much discussion here. According to his methodology the equally short duration digital computer age will posssibly end soon also. Me, I doubt it.
Using his methodology and DELIBERATELY IGNORING any other data you have available strikes me as an "I can't see you" ostrich approach. I do acknowlege his methodology for events where we have no other definitive information.
