re: Self Awareness - reply to Hank from Space

So, basically time is an illusion and at some level there is not "free will"- the illusionary "future" is set. Though there could be "some" free will, as in the "Matrix" particularly if you are "The One".

It's a funny thing freewill.

In a universe with no real past or future each "now" moment is the big ticket.

Free will is proportionate to development. Much like a computer with more data, more choices are available. A baby can't get up and walk around the room or get in the car and drive somewhere. It's freewill is limited to things it can do and is aware of.

It can grab its feet, gurgle and try to communicate with people that approach it and it can crawl. It can't fly to the moon, drive a car or sit and enter posts here at the Zone. So it's "freewill" is the baby's consciousness byproduct of interfacing with a limited set of data.

However, because this data field or 'soul' already must exist from another point of reference, the universe knows this individual's entire life. The baby does not lose freewill just because it is known, rather the universe knows the history and actions of this individual. I'm tempted to say "before the individual does" but that would be inaccurate, again because time does not really exist - only relativistic frames of reference.

So pre-destiny is inaccurate because there is no "pre" component of the universe.

Our worlds history is also known. However, to us with OUR present dataset and frame of reference, the date is July 20, 2007. But to the UNIVERSE - it is not just 2007! It is 1456, 5 BC and 34,564 and every other date all at once!

You see know why there can be no death and why souls, MUST exist - because to the universe there is NO time!

That's where reincarnation comes in. We are constantly evolving our freewill and dataset by developing this field or "soul".

And this is where it gets really interesting! Because time is not fixed, someone could die today and be reborn in Christ's time OR 20,000 years into the future or any other "time". Their field of data will be drawn towards that which is most compatible.

This is why some of the folks in more barbaric places are fine with barbarism. A suicide bomber in Pakistan may have just reincarnated from a life before in the middle ages. They have no use for technology or western thought and are drawn to Pakistan because that's the level of reincarnation and lifetime their field/soul currently supports.

Or a Da Vinci can be born and draw airplanes and tanks - because he has just come back from a lifetime in the 20th century, where such things existed!

See how it works now? Many sci-fi writers and futurists are more familiar with "the future" because they have already LIVED, one or more lifetimes in a different "time" and these things somehow seem perfectly normal to them! A Heinlein could come back to the 20th century from someplace like the 25th century and be perceived to have a "great imagination" when it was merely the remanifesting of certain things he already had been exposed to and now found form again through his subconscious.

When one looks at human history from this standpoint, one sees now how easy it is for man to suddenly progress in leaps and bounds once one gets past the neolithic type eras - all it takes is someone to reincarnate in, for them, a more retrograde period. However, this is fairly rare because generally such a person would be retrogressing to make such a leap. However it's easy for me to imagine someone like Hitler finding himself born again in the dark ages after a lifetime of destructive and self-destructive acts.

Most of the folks here who have this inner knowing and familiarity with living in space, or on Mars or the moon, may have already done so. ;-) Though each lifetime is like a tiny waveform on a larger wavetrain and so the other data recorded is present but needs to be remanifested to access fully. From baby to adult we grow, learn and pursue things compatible with our present field development.

For the universe neither the chicken or egg come first - both exist simultaneously due to the timeless nature of the universe.

One of the reasons time travel has such a fascination for folks is because everyone really IS a time-traveler. Freewill exists, but the universe regulates it naturally based upon an ever-changing data/field development. There is NO limit to the growth of any individual in the universe. What passes for freewill to us, likely appears to be a robot-like existence to others whose fields have long since evolved/grown beyond the level of humanity. And to the universe it makes no difference if you progress slowly or rapidly - so long as you progress.

Information can be a dangerous thing. At ANY time there is a vast disparity between segments of humanity. On the surface folks may look similar but there exist a broad spectrum in the datasets each can pull from.

In the Matrix, NEO had freewill once he realized the true nature of his world. In this sense, all who learn about the timelessness of the universe, of fields/souls and such are also now presented with more choices and more data to live more intelligently knowing that 'the end' just like 'the beginning' is a conceptual limitation folks eventually evolve beyond.
