re: Belief in superiority leads to abuses

Raoul, Raoul...

If someone lashes out at another justifying their actions on a belief in their superiority - they will reap the repercussion of such an action.

If folks kill animals or enslave other races or any such self-serving act based upon this belief, they will be in for a wake-up call sooner than later.

The universe doesn't believe in "superiority". That's a human concept. The universe knows "diversity" and "disparity in development". To the universe the sparrow is JUST as important as the MAN. A truly advanced person will have a reverance for all nature, understanding this method the universe manifests its infinite diversity.

The sport-hunters, cat-kickers and folks who kill for pleasure - must be given an opportunity to learn that such is not the most intelligent expression. Robbing them of their learning experience will only lead to greater abuses, or more properly imbalances at some future point.

The Earth does not belong to us. However, at the same time, one can't let other folks ignorance ever control one's own attitude or emotional state. We are not our brother's (or sister's) keeper. They must live and learn and grow.

I am not vegetarian, and consume meat regularly. At this point, humanity is still designed to consume animals and other living parts of the earth. All things in the universe feed on their environment for their construction and so one can't put an emotional bias on such, as many vegetarians do. That too is imbalanced. The death of animals is nothing to mourn, but then again when one understands there is NO death, one no longer mourns the passing of any living thing, any more than one would lament a passing breeze that has died and moved on to some other location.

Granted this knowledge of continuity can set up another group of justifications and abuses, but again, folks will feel repercussions from any action - be it positive or negative. And so we need only be concerned about our OWN actions.
