Finished the new "Harry Potter" (no spoilers)
Last chapter was a favorite. I remember a few years back seeing a TV special on Rowling. She was in her office, or home, and picked up a manila envelope. She said that the last chapter of the last book was in it. At the time, about three books into the series, I had my doubts, but now that I've read it, I absolutely believe it.
As a writer of sorts myself, I often have scenes pop full-blown out of my head, even before there's a place to put them in the story, and sometimes even before there's a story at all, and I can completely believe that one night years ago, this chapter just flowed out of her.
