My worry is not for the percentage of our military that are intelligent and critical thinkers who are able to rise above the tremendous stress they're under and sort out their human emotions and frailties. It's more for the impressionable, very young, and often inexperienced bunch that have seen atrocities beyond anything imaginable and will have psychological scars for the rest of their lives.
The last thing these guys need pumped into them is some notion of them being in some holy war where any non-Christian in their sights can be justifiable murdered in the name of God.
If some wacko fundamentalist wants to personally deliver crap like this to troops with his own funds and resources, it's a free country and the first amendment gives him that right even if it's abhorrent to our senses. My beef is that the people doing this are being funded and promoted by our military and our government and it's not liberal b.s. to be offended by that notion.
FrankC and I really don't see life that much differently and I respect his opinion. We simply have a different line in the sand on religious issues.
