A classic fundy christian argument is "I just can't take the idea seriously that a fish could turn into a man in a few hundred million years."
But you have made progress! At least you are not saying it's a massive con game by the enitre world's scientific community. You've stepped out of that crackpot zone at least for a short time. You're just, in other words, saying " Aw shucks it doesn't sound right to me so it just can't be so."
