Space/Science — HabitableZone

Space/Science » in reply to NASA wants to bring down ISS after 2014....Why bother building it in the first place?

Meanwhile, Bigelow might have first habitable module up by 2010.

Story here.

Of course, "habitable" isn't going to mean "inhabited" without some kind of space transport.

On that note, SpaceX is hoping to test their first "Dragon" man-rated space capsule around 2009, and of course, there's always the Russians.

(Bigelow's own fluffy website is a pain to navigate, and good luck finding any decent tech information.)
