You think we are "conquering" SPACE?
The universe is a big place. Using the term conquest with we we are now is like saying the first land mammals that crawled out of the ocean just conquered the earth but to an exponential factor of 20 or 30. I object both because the term invites conflict over resources (when we should cooperate in exploiting the infinity of them), and because it is such an arrogant and hackneyed term with our current standing in the universe. Exploration, utiilization, development, colonization are all terms I hope to have associated with our space programs, but not "conquest."
