"Iraq refugees chased from home, struggle to cope."

One of many, many sources which details the Iraqi refugee crisis. The intelligentsia, professionals and management class has fled, 2,000,000 million of them, roughly 8% of the population, have fled the country. These people are causing all manner of problems for Syria, Jordan and Iran, among other countries. The US has agreed to accept about 10,000 ingrates who would want to be in the US instead of Bush's paradise.

And there are many internal refugees, people who were once living peacefully in "mixed" neighborhoods and now have to find segregated living. That is called "civil war". Or religious war. but war nonetheless.

Without its' educated, mercantile and governing class, without a functioning judiciary, a country cannot survive as a country. Corruption and religious zealots will and have fill the gap. The only thing simpler or more sure is who to blame for this. George W. Bush threw the dice against all odds and lost. However, he wasn't gambling with his money, his family or his life. He was using others.

Iraq is back to the Stone Age. With a lot of scrap for when they move to the Iron Age.
