Obtuse. Now, how is Bush going to rebuild the country without these folks?

When you disagree with one of Fortunes "100 Most Influential People in Finance in the 20th Century" over numbers, that's arrogance. When you try to nitpick over when these people became refugees that's ignorance. If you applied any of your research talents to the problem, you'd find the answer very rapidly.

Because it's obvious. They weren't emigrating much under Saddam. They want the hell out of Bush's hell.

"WASHINGTON - The United States will soon begin admitting a bigger trickle of the more than 2 million refugees who have fled Iraq, acknowledging for the first time the country may never be safe for some who have helped the U.S. there."

Now, how is Bush going to rebuild the country when the doctors, engineers, lawyers, judges, plant managers, professors and the rest of the folks with training, intelligence and money have left? Gonna have to be done, isn't it? Need those people! So what's your plan?

How are you going to stabilize the country when the lives of anyone who assisted or assists the US are at risk? What's the plan? Do you have one? Why haven't you implemented it?

Or is the obvious true, it's all hollow? Read "State of Denial", "Cobra II", and "Against all Enemies" and come back and discuss Iraq and Afghanistan intelligently, in the light of reality, not Conservative blogs, anecdotes and Bush (America doesn't torture terrorist suspects) lies.

Arf (If you keep doing what you've been doing you're going to keep getting what you've been getting.)
