Is none of their business.
I find it offensive and unnecessary.
If the state wants to know so much about our private lives, then maybe THEY should start raising our kids instead.
Luckily my kids aren't in school anymore, or I'd be RUNNING the committee to have the questionairres banned from the school.
Reminds me of the time my 13 yr. old son came home from school all freaked out because he'd been singled out at school during a "drug lockdown". Armed police from several counties hit the school like a SWAT team, and literally searched all the kids, and lockers. It was the beginning of the school year, and I had bought him a new backpack stitched in suede. The drug sniffing dogs went crazy over the "leather" smell, and he was isolated, ordered outside the classroom, put up against a wall and searched. Then then started asking him questions about his parents and if we smoked marijauna or did any other drugs. I went straight to the principal with that, and to our local police department. Wrote a Letter to the Editor. Nothing like this was attempted for years after. These Nazi tactics are surfacing more and more here, and unless one takes a PRO-ACTIVE stance against them, then the noose is too tight before you even know it.
