This topic would be fit for Current Events, without the snarky little editorial at the front. But I guess I'll just have to play the cards as you dealt 'em.
I'd heard a lot about Sanchez's speech, but was holding back on commenting until I'd had a chance to read the entire text. Thanks. I was unaware of his tirade against the press at the beginning, and I can't say I'm surprised that the press would pass on an attack on itself when there's so much else of genuine public interest in Sanchez's speech.
Unfortunately for your argument about bias, there was nothing in the Iraq portion of the speech that hasn't been relayed in the media I've watched and read. I can understand the media synopsizing such a long speech, but exactly what significant point are you accusing the media of deliberately omitting?
If you're going to start a flame, Tom, at least be clear about your issue. We can't even get started until I know what's got your knickers in a knot this time.
Flame » in reply to And now, the rest of the General Sanchez speech.
Why Flame?
