My DSL is pretty good, but my old computer probably has some compatibility issues and certainly processor speed issues (less than 1 MHZ) Google video often doesn't work at all, and even though I'm running Flash 9, a lot of times a Flash movie in a website won't run either. And HD Quicktime? Forget about it. Dual processors work with my applications that use them, but I suspect most "vanilla" apps still don't.
After all the crap on that "Beowulf" movie trailer, the one on the site didn't even work for me. YouTube works pretty well, and normal Quicktime.
