I should've run your handle through Babelfish earlier, Epi. Now I understand where you're coming from!
What? You say that that's not an accurate translation? Well, that's kind of how your posts read to me: Random assemblages of techish words thrown together to make a sort of Cargo Cult melange of faux geekishness.
But you see, terms like "TCP/IP" and "LAN" and "workstation" and "server" and "grid computing" aren't just ritual incantations, they actually mean something. At least to me and my colleagues who work every day with the very real things they represent. Throwing a bunch of random technical terms into the air and transcribing the order in which they hit the ground doesn't make you knowledgeable about the subject.
And the history of the Internet isn't something imagined in smoke-filled dorm rooms at university in the early '90s. It's a story of real historical events that took place on real historical dates as a result of the action of real historical people.
It's been fun, Epi, but I need to get back to my workstation to write some code for my server to create HTML pages to send out over TCP/IP.
