"Singing in the Rain"? No, you think Gene Kelly is offensively gay.

I guess you hate all dystopia movies, like "1984", "Brave New World", "Minority Report". All movies with gratuitous violence, like "Ben Hur", "The Shining", all those Kurosawa-based spagetti westerns (and all Kurosawa too, I guess). I'm sure silly comedies could not "uplift" you, so "Some Like It Hot" (also too offensively gay), "City Slickers", the Pink Panther movies are out.

I give up. What movies uplift you?
