that made me sit up and take notice.
He spoke of *artificial reality*. Due to circumstances in my immediate family...artificial reality is a term that made me digress into a narrow field of vision. True enough, because I do easily digress with a certain few buzz words...I may be taking this out of context.
I have not seen Bladerunner so in this context..I have nary a clue to his reference points. I took his monologue at face value.
I feel society does worship celebrities. We do waste alot of precious time trying to engage in an artificial reality....and ego re-enforcement has led many X and Y generationers to an incredible sense of entitlement that is lost on this baby boomer.
I am level-headed and quite straightforward....I am exactly who I say I am...I do not present myself as anything else. Being able to discern subliminal and subversive superstitions based on split personality paranoia are lost on this simpleton.
My instincts are intact, ER ;)....I do lament the unhappiness I sense in the younger generation....thus my response.
