Yeah, radical Islamist groups weren't any problem for the U.S. prior to the war in Afghanistan and Iraq.

I figure at some point "progressive" history writers will start blaming Pearl Harbor on the bombing of Hiroshima.

Extra credit: look up a list of radical Islamist attacks prior to 9/11.
