That is an EXCELLENT example, let's look at it together, shall we?

Between 2006 and 2012 over 70,000 Iraqi refugees came to the US. This is the single example of all those 10's of thousands you could come up with.

Take a close look at it, TB.

An intelligence tip initially led the FBI to Waad Ramadan Alwan, 32, in 2009. The Iraqi had claimed to be a refugee who faced persecution back home -- a story that shattered when the FBI found his fingerprints on a cordless phone base that U.S. soldiers dug up in a gravel pile south of Bayji, Iraq on Sept. 1, 2005. The phone base had been wired to unexploded bombs buried in a nearby road.

An ABC News investigation of the flawed U.S. refugee screening system, which was overhauled two years ago, showed that Alwan was mistakenly allowed into the U.S. and resettled in the leafy southern town of Bowling Green, Kentucky, a city of 60,000 which is home to Western Kentucky University and near the Army's Fort Knox and Fort Campbell. Alwan and another Iraqi refugee, Mohanad Shareef Hammadi, 26, were resettled in Bowling Green even though both had been detained during the war by Iraqi authorities, according to federal prosecutors.

The same year Alwan entered the country the FBI started examining him... The two conspirators were kept busy as part of a long running sting operation...

So, of the tens of thousands there were these two morons that slipped through the screening process, only to be picked up by the FBI...

Then-FBI Director Robert Mueller briefed President Obama in early 2011 as agents and Louisville federal prosecutors weighed whether to arrest Alwan and Hammadi or continue arranging phony arms shipments to Iraq that the pair could assist with, consisting of machine guns, explosives and even Stinger missiles the FBI had secretly rendered inoperable and which never left the U.S.

NOW as you point out there was a 6 month moratorium on the Iraqi refugee program because of this incident- And what was the result?

A dangerous breakdown in the background check system for refugees of the Iraq war resulted in the death of at least one Iraqi who dared help American forces.

A new report by ABC News details the U.S. government’s alarm in 2009 when officials realized that two Al Qaeda in Iraq terrorists with bomb-making expertise were living in Bowling Green, Ky., as refugees.

That case forced the State Department to stop processing applications from Iraqis seeking safety in the U.S. for six months in 2011, the network reported.

At least one Iraqi who helped the U.S. was assassinated during the delay, ABC reported, citing two U.S. officials.

The government’s refugee program has faced criticism for not moving expeditiously enough to resettle the Iraqis who risked their lives by helping American forces.

So... many tens of thousands of refugees, and these 2 numbskulls... the 2 never got a chance to do harm to american civilians, and were under FBI surveillance during all of this...

As a result of our reaction to this, at least one Iraqi that helped us was assassinated...

We done here?

Yes, I think we are- thanks for asking!
