Could the US become a major oil exporter?

It would be possible if Americans weren't so utterly foolish.
It wouldn't even require that new oil wells were drilled- though we should allow more areas in the US to be explored for oil and permitted to be mined.
The US could even shutdown half of it's oil production and still export oil.

This article explains how this could done and the govt wouldn't need to spend a dime in order to make it happen- all the govt would need to do, is cease it's foolishness of stopping it.

Now the above link is mainly about proving that all the global warming nonsense is has no scientific basis. I will quote some of it which I thought is interesting:
"Carbon dioxide has a very short residence time in the atmosphere. Beginning with the 7 to 10-year half-time of CO2 in the atmosphere estimated by Revelle and Seuss (69), there were 36 estimates of the atmospheric CO2 half-time based upon experimental measurements published between 1957 and 1992 (59). These range between 2 and 25 years, with a mean of 7.5, a median of 7.6, and an upper range average of about 10. Of the 36 values, 33 are 10 years or less.

Many of these estimates are from the decrease in atmospheric carbon 14 after cessation of atmospheric nuclear weapons testing, which provides a reliable half-time. There is no experimental evidence to support computer model estimates of a CO2 atmospheric "lifetime" of 300 years or more."

Now, to me this seemed rather obvious that CO2 wouldn't stay in the atmosphere for very long considering how dynamic the carbon cycle was, but I unaware that this had already been so throughly scientifically determined.

Next:
"Most geographical locations experienced both the Medieval Climate Optimum and the Little Ice Age – and most locations did not experience temperatures that were unusually warm during the 20th century. A review of 23 quantitative records has demonstrated that mean and median world temperatures in 2006 were, on average, approximately 1 °C or 2 °F cooler than in the Medieval Period."

Again, not really new, but common argument was this was only regional rather than globally warmer temperature [which is rather strange thing to say when you think of it, since this warming occurred over such long period time- if it was only warmer for say 10 or 20 years that could easily be possible as just regional affect]

This section was interesting:
"In effect, an experiment has been performed on the Earth during the past half-century – an experiment that includes all of the complex factors and feedback effects that determine the Earth's temperature and climate. Since 1940, hydrocarbon use has risen 6-fold. Yet, this rise has had no effect on the temperature trends, which have continued their cycle of recovery from the Little Ice Age in close correlation with increasing solar activity.

Not only has the global warming hypothesis failed experimental tests, it is theoretically flawed as well. It can reasonably be argued that cooling from negative physical and biological feedbacks to greenhouse gases nullifies the slight initial temperature rise."
