Willful ignorance
We are dealing with a segment of the population that refuses to acknowledge any reality that conflicts with their pre-established biases. I can't tell you how many times I've explained this to some right wing friends, that it doesn't mean ONLY black lives matter, it means black lives matter TOO. Then i see them continue to post more "ALL lives matter" bullshit. The biggest threat to our society is the willful denial of objective reality by segments of our population.
