You and Bowser are basing your outrage on comparing my action regarding RL's "Psycho Stalker" with my lack of action regarding RL's nastiness on Flame toward you. Apples and oranges; let's untoss the fruit salad.

RL's nemesis in The Case of the Psycho Stalker was an outsider, "Suri" or whatever, who came to the HabitableZone to harass RL. I will repel "invaders" to protect Zoners; the Zone is a sanctuary for Zoners. "Suri" reduced things to their most primal: He/she came on to my turf to attack somebody under my protection. That's when laid-back Robert turns into the Shepherd who guards his flock. Wolves beware.

And RL versus you on Flame? That's an orange of a different color. I'm obliged to be neutral when two Zoners duke it out...or sometimes to do no more than put my thumb on the scales to try to ensure a fair fight, at least. That was the logic behind putting up a virtual fence between you and RL...OffTopic was declared a demilitarized zone, and in the DMZ, RL would stay away from you. You venture on to Space/Sciences at your own risk, and there, it's the moderators who would probably tend to agree with RL--albeit more politely-- that you're fair game posting on that turf. But Flame? I'm afraid that the barium thread on Flame gave RL a lot of scope to attack you. For all intents and purposes, Flame isn't moderated at all. That's the point.

(BTW, I'm assuming that you started the thread on Flame, and that it wasn't moved; the logs don't mention that happening. If you posted elsewhere and the thread was moved to Flame, that'd be different. But if you started the thread on Flame in the first place, what were you expecting?)

And anyway, Lindy, RL was only one of several people who participated on that thread. In fact, after the part of the thread involving RL and "Suri" was deleted, I can spot only one post left from RL. It's pretty nasty and gratuitous and classic RL, but then, it is Flame.

May I politely suggest, Lindy, with all due respect: Perhaps you're making a mountain out of a molehill?
