The universe is here now, it has rules, and we have to deal with it.
How it was formed is of academic interest, of course, but nothing that needs to keep those of a scientific mind awake at night. If you're of a religious bent, that's another story.
Current science indicates it will last billions of more years. I'm not losing sleep over that, either.
Just avoid reciting the nine billion names of God, or messing up the cosmos by peeking at it while it's dressing.
